Objective: Correctly identify elements in poems.

Time Frame: 15 minutes to 1 hour

Materials:
a variety of poetry books for children
any teaching materials available
art supplies and materials as needed

Activities:
1. Write tongue twisters.
2. Create word webs or other similar tools.
3. Play I Spy.
4. Create a PowerPoint presentation.
5. Create a class poster, mural, booklet, etc.
