After you have selected a famous Oklahoman, your mission will be to research your person and then develop your own Scavenger Hunt. Be sure to include a timeline that shows Oklahoma historical dates as well as the life span of your person. You will present your Scavenger Hunt in a PowerPoint or HyperStudio presentation.
1. Choose a famous Oklahoman from the list that will be provided.
2. Research to learn all you can about your person. What biographical information can you find? What historical events took place during their life? What contributions did they make as artists, athletes, musicians, performing artists, political figures, etc. What influence did they have on Oklahoma history and/or culture? (Minimum of 4 different sources)
3. Develop a Scavenger Hunt of your own and build a PowerPoint or HyperStudio presentation. Use the storyboard template to map the project.
