The text for this class is Foundation of Education , 7th ed.  by Allen C. Ornstein and Daniel U. Levine.  It is published by Houghton Mifflin Company.  The chapters used for this unit are 3 and 4.

Dr. Hand's lecutre on Educational Philosophy and the "Christian World View"  This lecture is typically given on an evening during the unit.  The power point is designed so that students can go through it, self paced, or use it as a reminder of the lecture.  Dr. David Hand, is the Dean of the School of Education at Oral Roberts University.

Pioneers in Education is a power point used in class to introduce the students to the philosophers they will be studying.
