Application Activity #1 The students will answer the questions they proposed during the Brainstorm activity.  Through the Inquiry activities, they will select the instrument that will be the best choice for them.

Application Activity #2 The students will make a PowerPoint slide of the instrument that they think they would most like to play.  The slide must have a title, picture and three characteristics of the instrument they choose. The class will assist in evaluating the slide based on the PowerPoint Rubric.

Application Activity #3 The students will make an instrument that has some of the characteristics of the instrument they have selected.  The students will be given the Homemade Instrument Rubric before they begin. The Inquiry activities and the video will also give them some specific ideas.

Application Activity #4 The students will demonstrate their instrument to the class.  The student will be follow the guidelines on Homemade Instrument Rubric

Application Activity #5 The students will play their instruments in the class "orchestra" for a performance for the first grade classes.
